bad tv is great

So I posted this on myspace as well...so for those of you reading both...read it again. :)

I don't know what's wrong with the sick world we live in...but David Blaine was going to be drowned alive tonight for all of America to see. My roommate said "I don't know why anyone would want to watch that." My reply..."I don't either, but I sure am one of those people." Yes...I know it's strange. I can't explain why I wanted to watch it. It was pretty horrific actually. I mean...how disappointed would you be if you wanted to break a record and hold your breath underwater in a plastic bubble for 9 minutes, but you had to have the divers rescue you after 7:08? I'd think it's be a pretty humiliating experience. I guess I'm not too terribly disappointed in myself for only being able to hold my breath for 1 minute. Of course he did break a record for being underwater for 177 hours...but then again his skin is falling off.

While I'm talking about subjecting myself to awful tv...I definitely watched the series finale of 7th Heaven. It's like a train wreck, but I continue watching. Why? I have no clue. It's got to be one of the longest running crappy shows ever. But little Simon all grown up about to get married...why wouldn't I want to watch? I mean...can you say DRAMA!!!!

If the finale was not enough, did you hear that the new network the CW has decided to bring 7th Heaven back next year?
