A Little Reflection on 2007...

As I prepare to spend my 3rd New Years eve in Nashville, I'm reminded of the past years...and how far I've come. I think often times it's easy to forget where we started versus where we are now. When I moved to Nashville over two years ago, I had no idea what I was going to do. I didn't have any money. And I had very few friends in the big city. But when I look at where I am now, I can't help but be thankful. Lots of big things (good and bad) have have happened in my life over the past couple years and last new years eve, I was very excited to enter into 2007!

Let's reflect, shall we...Highlights of 2007Last New Years Eve - The random party that got thrown at our apartment. Lots of great friends, good times, plenty of little weenies, burbon balls, and other great food. Good times all around! Vacation with Robyn to visit Jaclyn - This trip included my first trip up the east coast (or at least part of it). I got to add Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Deleware, and Connecticut to the states I've visited. This also was my first trip to the Big Apple (WHICH I LOVED)! As well as my first trip to DC. This was definitely an amazing vacation!

Buying my first home - This was definitely a huge step for me! For all those who believe I'm afraid of committment...HA! This was something I was hoping would happen this year...and I made it work! And so far, so good (except for my ridiculously loud upstairs neighbors...oh the joys of being a condo owner)! It actually feels like a home and I love it.

Great concerts - I went to a bizillion amazing shows this year! I know I'd have a lot more money in the bank...but each was worth it. Here's some of the best...Butch Walker Andy Davis, Matt Wertz, Dave Barnes, Ben Folds, Justin Timberlake, The Shins, Patty Griffin, Damien Rice, Pete Yorn, John Mayer, Ben Gibbard, Matt Kearney, Nathan Angelo, Amos Lee, Naughty by Nature, AugustanaAny time I've spent with friends, finally finding a position at work that I actually like, time spent with my family, finding great new music...
