"i'm not crazy, m'lynn, i've just been in a very bad mood for 40 years!"

do you ever have one of those days where you're in a bad mood and you don't really know why? i think today is one of those days. i mean, there have been things that would possibly trigger the "bad mood" switch to "on." but i don't really think any of those things are the main cause. i don't want to be in a bad mood. but i am. it's friday night...it should be full of fun, not bad moods.

i'm in one of those moods where i feel like driving (even long distances) to see an old friend. to just spend time together and hang out. but i'm broke, unemployed, and out of gas.

i'm seeing this glass as half empty. anyone want to join my pity party? i have a feeling this one might last a while.

i'm sorry you're in a funky mood, and i'll definitely join. i had such a bad attitude and was in such a bad moood yesterday. and much like you, there were things that could have put me in a bad mood, but shouldn't have wrecked my whole day like it did. it sucked for sure. i hope yours has lifted...i'm not sure if mine has yet or not!

When I get in a bad mood or want to throw myself a pity part I sing that hymn in my head:

Count your blessings name them one by one

County your blessings see what God has done.

Count your blessings, name them one by one.

County your many blessings see what God has done.

Then when I do that, I see just how blessed I am and that there is no reason for me to ever be in a bad mood.

So ready, sing it with now...

Count your blessing - YOU'RE NOT SINGING - really, you have to sing. Here we go, from the top now...

"Count your blessings name them one by one.

County your blessings see what God has done.

Count your blessings, name them one by one.

County your many blessings see what God has done."

Don't you feel better now?
